Nominated Charity

From 2008 the local charity CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen and North www.clanhouse.org ) is our nominated charity and £1 per entry will be donated to CLAN (Charity No SC022606).

CLAN is an independent charity for anyone affected by any type of cancer at any time from diagnosis onwards. Whether affected personally, as a carer, family member or close friend, our services are available to you.

Entrants can run for CLAN by gaining sponsorship from friends and family. Sponsorship forms can be obtained by contacting Duncan Charles at CLAN on Duncan.Charles@clanhouse.org  or on 01224 647000, or set up your own charity donation website by going to www.justgiving.co.uk and selecting CLAN as your charity.

Sea Watch Foundation

Sea Watch Foundation in association with Stonehaven Dolphin Research would like runners to help raise money for a new sea watch vessel. The volunteers work alongside SWF to help preserve and monitor cetaceans (Whales, Dolphins and Porpoise). SWF also do land and sea surveys for ID photographs and the study of behaviour patterns, and also raise awareness to the public and educate and work alongside the younger generation in schools and colleges.

All money raised will stay in this area and the research that is donewith the research vessel will be concentrated in the area around Aberdeen and South. For further details go to www.stonehavendolphinresearch.co.uk  .
