Victoria Charlton  Fantastic My first attempt at the Stoney Half. Absolutely fantastic course although definitely one of the toughest I've ever ran. Standing joke of the day which got a few laughs (through gritted teeth) seemed to be 'it's all downhill from here' when it most definitely wasn't. Fabulous atmosphere, with great local support along the way, and every single marshall giving enthusiastic encouragement to ALL runners, not just to their clubmates. The pipers at the top of *that* hill and at the finish were superb, and the ladies with super soakers and spray guns along the way were a welcome sight. I will definitely be back - thank you Stonehaven for a very warm (literally) welcome! Cheers!

Robin Stringfellow A Grand day out Hello there. First and hopefully not the last Stoney half for me today. Many thanks to all involved today and my disappointment at not breaking 2hrs was more than made up for by a Mr Andy Murray later on in the afternoon! Many many thanks to all again :)

Shirley Taylor Great Event This was my first attempt at the Stoney Half and I want to thank everyone involved for their hard work - from getting cheered along the way, piped at the top of a big hill, soaked by water guns and made to feel like a superstar at the finish! Well done :-)
