Stalls and Bouncy Castle

There will be a few stalls including strawberries, as well as a boucy castle to keep spectators happy while the runners are out on the course. Refreshments will also be available for spectators but we do ask that a donation is given for these.

Massage at the Finish?

We have 3 people who will provide a massage at the finish on a first come first served basis. The massage will last around 10 minutes and cost £5 each.

More Entrants but NO on the day entries

The numbers of runners has been increasing steadily over the past few years so we have now increased out limit to 500. But this does mean they we will no longer be accepting on the day entries.

We have made an adjustment to the start time for 2015 in the interests of safety. The new start time is 10am.

A big thanks one again to Specsavers for sponsoring the 1k fun run. This will take place soon after 10am (once the main race has been set off) it is free to enter and there are no entry formsto fill in but you will be rewarded with a medal nd t-shirt.

Occupation for Spectators while runners are out on the course

This year we have put out a plea for anyone that would be interested in setting up a stall at th epark for spectators to occupy themselves while the runners are out on the course. To date we have the following stalls set up: Cup cakes Glitter Tattoos Fragrant Candles and Football Wordart...

A route change

We have recently had the course re-measured and made a slight change to the end to hopefully make it safer for runners and spectators alike. The new route enters the park through the Glebe which means that the busy Bath Street and Belmont Brae are now no longer part of the route. It does man that...
